Welcome to Snout Services. By using our platform, website, services, or booking with any of our affiliated pet sitters, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully.
1. Use of Services
By booking services with Snout Services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and updated information about your pet(s) and household.
- Pay for services through our official payment system. Direct payments to sitters outside of our platform are strictly prohibited.
- Treat all Snout Services staff and contractors with respect and professionalism.
2. Booking & Payment
- All services must be booked through Snout Services and paid using approved payment methods (e.g., Stripe).
- Clients are strictly prohibited from bypassing Snout Services to book directly with any sitter or provider they were introduced to through our platform. Any violation may result in immediate termination of service access and potential legal action.
- Snout Services reserves the right to decline or cancel services if payment is not made in full or if service requirements exceed what is safe or reasonable for the sitter.
3. Independent Contractors
All sitters and caregivers affiliated with Snout Services are independent contractors. While we thoroughly vet our sitters, Snout Services is not liable for any damages or incidents that occur beyond reasonable control or when the sitter is not present.
- Sitters are not liable for injury, illness, loss, or death of any pet that occurs due to preexisting health issues, environmental factors, or acts of nature.
- You acknowledge that while every effort is made to ensure safety, animals are inherently unpredictable and risk cannot be entirely eliminated.
4. Emergencies & Limitations of Service
- In the event of a pet emergency, we will attempt to contact the client and/or the emergency contact provided. If contact cannot be made, we reserve the right to take appropriate action in the pet’s best interest, including emergency veterinary care.
- All emergency veterinary costs are the sole responsibility of the client.
- Snout Services does not provide pet taxi services to veterinary offices for emergencies or medical issues. We do not assume responsibility for medical transport or decisions regarding the pet’s health outside of basic emergency response when in our care.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
- Refund eligibility is determined based on the time of cancellation before the service start date:
- 48+ hours: full refund
- 24–48 hours: 50% refund
- Less than 24 hours: no refund
- No-shows or last-minute cancellations will not be refunded unless agreed upon by the owner.
- Deposits: For bookings during peak demand periods—such as summer months and major holidays—a non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your reservation. The deposit amount will be communicated prior to confirmation and is applied toward your final balance.
6. Liability Waiver
By booking with Snout Services, you agree to hold harmless and indemnify Snout Services and its affiliates, employees, and independent contractors from any and all claims, losses, damages, liability, costs, or expenses—including veterinary costs—that arise during or as a result of the services provided unless proven to be caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct on the part of the sitter.
7. Non-Solicitation Agreement
Clients may not solicit, hire, or enter into any direct agreement with sitters met through Snout Services outside of the platform. Any attempt to bypass our system, including but not limited to:
- Paying sitters in cash or via external methods,
- Booking future services directly without notifying Snout Services,
- Offering personal contracts or agreements outside of our business,
...is considered a breach of this agreement and may result in legal action and permanent banning from our platform.
8. Privacy
All client and pet information is kept confidential and used solely to provide and improve our services. We do not share your personal information with third parties except as required by law or necessary to fulfill services.
9. Modifications
Snout Services reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without notice. The most current version will always be posted on our website.
10. Acceptance
By using Snout Services, submitting a booking, or interacting with our staff or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.If you do not agree with any portion of these terms, you should not proceed with using our services.
